Apostilles / Authentication

for International Documents

Need to send important documents overseas? We can help!

Notary Ally provides support with the Apostille or Authentication process—required when U.S. documents need to be recognized in another country.

Whether it’s a birth certificate, power of attorney, school transcript, or legal paperwork, we can help. Our Apostille partner goes to the California Secretary of State’s office twice a day, and has specialized in Apostilles for over a decade.

What is an Apostille?

An Apostille is a specialized certificate issued by the Secretary of State that verifies the authenticity of the notary or the state official’s signature, the capacity in which the person signing the document acted, and the identity of any stamp or seal affixed to the document. It makes a document legally valid and recognizable in all member countries of the Hague Convention. For countries not in the Hague Convention, the process is referred to as Authentication.

Let’s make the process smoother and stress-free—so your documents are accepted wherever they’re headed.
